Graduate Immersion // Portland, OR

  • Jen Love's House 4235 Northeast Sumner Street Portland, OR, 97218 United States (map)

A Life of Meaning and Purpose.

Fulfilling Your Unique Destiny.

What brings a deep sense of meaning and purpose to your life?

What skills, talents, and interests light you up?

Are you happy and satisfied?

How do you know?

If any of these questions are aggravating, confusing, or compelling, this class may be for you.

This One-Day Graduate Immersion will have a very similar structure to the 3-day Immersion, yet will be held with these very potent questions in mind. It is an opportunity for anyone who has previously completed a weekend Immersion to dive into a full day of practice with other members of the Solsara community.

As evolving beings in an increasingly complex and destructive world, the drive to "be", to impact, to make this whole "living" thing worth it, holds immense importance. So why then, do we so often get paralyzed in inaction, stuck in depression and anxiety, without ambition, and in careers and relationships that drain rather than fulfill? Why do we turn to social media, substances, damaging relationships, entertainment, food, smoking, selfies, sex and porn? Why do we choose these temporary moments of "happiness" over actualizing our true essence?

Do you have a sense of what it would feel and look like for you to be deeply fulfilled and satisfied with your life? To have ambition? To act from your vision rather than your damage? To be a force for positive change in a world that so desperately needs you?

We will explore these questions and more through guided meditation, self-inquiry, and relational practices. By listening to our bodies and our emotions, we will unlock the stagnant, stuck, limiting patterns and stories to discover our true essence, to move toward the suffering that stops us, and arrive at a place of CHOICE and ACTION.
